Programs and Services for Children
NEW!!! Read with your Librarian: There will not be "summer school" this year, but there is a library with a former reading teacher as librarian (Ms. Martha). Any time that I'm not doing a Summer Reading Program, I'm available at the library to listen to your child read, help your child find books at their reading level, or practice math facts (up to 5th grade level). Check it out! Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, mostly afternoons until 5:00.Story Hour: Held Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:00. Ages toddlers-Preschool. Read stories, sing, dance, explore shadow puppets, and more!
Summer Reading Program: Each summer the Library sponsors a reading program for kids pre-K thru 5th grade. REGISTRATION FORM FOUND HERE.
Library Pajama Party: Held the last Thursday of every month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wear your jammies and slippers, bring your favorite blanket and stuffed animal, and be prepared to sing, dance, and hear awesome stories at the library before heading back home and off to bed. See you then!
LEGO Club: It's the last Tuesday of every month from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Grades kindergarten and up. No card, membership, or Legos needed, just bring your imagination! Lego creations will be on display at the Library until Lego Club meets again.
Movie Day: The library holds children's movie days throughout the year. Come enjoy free popcorn and drink provided by Library staff. Let's enjoy the movie! Dates are yet to be determined.
