Future Dreams and Plans
It would be the Library's greatest wish to be gifted a $$bazillion dollars$$ by Warren Buffet or any New-Age Andrew Carnegie-type philanthropist that would enable the Library to purchase the business next door to the south. That would pave the way for building a full, 2-story addition to the existing Library without losing our Carnegie-style appeal. The addition would include a modern elevator, separate area for technology, more space for books, a decent meeting room with a full kitchen, modern restrooms, updated HVAC, and space for hosting programs in-house. Perhaps even a fireplace?
Then, the rest of the basement would be repurposed for showcasing the historical museum-type objects that are now on limited display or are in storage and organized storage spaces for library materials and artifacts.
